The 3F Filippi Targetti group at EILD 2019 alongside the Ibero-American  lighting design community

The 2019 edition of EILD - Incontro Ibero-americano de Lighting Design – will be held in  Colonia del Sacramento, one of the oldest cities in Uruguay which was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1995.  The aim of the event is to give professionals and those interested in lighting a place to reflect and discuss, learn about the latest trends on the market, experiment with new technology and share ideas and projects. EILD is a non-profit initiative that was started by a group of independent professionals with the aim of promoting a conscious use of light, sharing values of lighting design and fostering collaboration between the various disciplines connected to the sector.

Targetti has taken part in the event since the first edition in 2010 in Valparaiso in Chile, confirming their focus on internationality, their multidisciplinary approach and willingness to talk to the market.

The theme chosen for the 2019 edition is “Communication”: from the 20th to the 23rd of March theoretical and practical session will be held that will focus on the key issues of lighting design and in particular how light is to all intents and purposes a means of communication. The programme includes conferences and workshops and activities set up in the city of  Colonia. Renowned international speakers have already confirmed their presence at the meeting: among them Mark Major (Speirs and Major, UK) and Nathalie Rozot (PhoScope, USA).

The 3F Filippi-Targetti group’s presence at the 2019 edition of EILD is the ideal opportunity to meet the Ibero-American lighting design community and to share experiences, ideas and projects and to be inspired by their common passion for lighting.
