Victoria, manufacturer of decorative lighting fixtures and part of the Targetti Group, is one of the ex-aequo winner of the European Design Competition "Lights of the Future" with the suspended luminaire X-LAMP, designed by Luca Gigli and Massimo Materassi from NO STOP Studio in Florence.
This competition has been organized by the European Community in order to stimulate the design of decorative luminaire products with compact fluorescent lamps for the residential use. The participants were more than 600, coming from many European Countries.
X-LAMP, which is part of a wider range, represents a synthesis of high technical contents and decorative design: the diffuser is in blown glass with three layers, outer satin finish and inner coating in white milk finish. Fluorescent version: direct component guaranteed by one downlight mounted inside the diffuser, complete with safety glass, centrally sanded. Polycarbonate reflector with "scratch Proof Formula" treatment. Metal canopy and suspension element with chrome finish.
The jury, formed by designers and distributors from many European Countries, has awarded X-LAMP thanks to the synthesis between decorative and technical contents, to the particular design, to a modern fitting and to a forefront technological content.
