Light is not simply a matter of visual perception but, perhaps even more importantly, incorporates an emotional aspect, making it a vital communication tool. Colour, position and method of illumination all have a profound influence on the quality of perception of an object. In sales, lighting becomes a decisive instrument in the purchasing process, very often a decision made on the basis of emotional perception, can be amplified favourably or motivated by the lighting present.
It is for this reason that the Targetti Optic Division, which in collaboration with the National Optic Institute advances the study of colorimetry and the Science of Vision, have created a range of chromatic, corrective and UV Stop interferential filters.
This interferential filter range has now been extended with new universal filters for AR111 lamps, suitable for lamps from any manufacturer, which swiftly customise all types of fixtures, creating the required lighting effects time after time.
Three types of filters are available: chromatics, refractives and correctives. Chromatics are available in 10 different colours: blue, green, yellow, red, magenta, cyan, light green, orange, lavender and skin tone. The refractive filters allow for modification of the light beam and are available as diffusers or light blades. The former, uses a special micro-groove process to enlarge the light beam and provide optimum uniformity; while the latter utilises linear incisions to create a precise light "blade".
Finally, the corrective universal filters allow for the variation of chromatic coordinates, "warming" or "cooling" the light according to the nature of the objects to be lit. |
