Targetti, in cooperation with ArteFiera (the most important Italian fair dedicated to contemporary art), presents the third edition of the international biennial competition dedicated to young artists and designers (under 35), invited to express their creativity by using artificial light as an instrument and content.

The artworks which will arrive at Targetti before June the 20th, 2003 will be judged by a Jury composed by some of the most representative professionals in the field of art: from Nigel Coates (director of the Architecture Department at the Royal College of Arts in London) to Alessandra Mammì (a journalist from "L'Espresso"); from Steven D. Lavine (president of the California Institute of the Arts) to Marino Golinelli (experienced art collector).

The winning artists will be awarded an amount of 25.000 €; their works will be part of the TARGETTI ART LIGHT COLLECTION, the contemporary art collection curated by Amnon Barzel which is one of the most prestigious international collection dedicated to the Light Art and to the emotional power of light.
