description
PY-QUAD: design by Lorenzo Querci. Positionable professional projectors with controlled asymmetrical emission for metal halide and halogen lamps. Compact: the PY-QUAD projector is produced in a double version with two different sizes; it is extremely compact with its minimal shape and is extremely discrete and ideal for installations in systems where the light fixtures must be camouflaged in the architecture. All versions of PY-QUAD are characterized by precision optic elements with antiglare screen on the lamp for maximum visual comfort and control of the light beam produced. All movements of the projector can be blocked for stable aim using the fastening dowels on the bracket and tightening the nuts through the graduated slot. The blocking socket-head screws on the extension are the “unlosable” type. Uniform lighting: the range of PY-QUAD projectors is equipped with reflectors designed to obtain uniform lighting effects for both vertical and horizontal surfaces, depending on the position of the fixture and lighting effect desired. PY-QUAD is also recommended for installations where a rigid control of light emission towards the sky is required; with its high transparency flat glass, in light installations oriented downward, the light emission upward is totally controlled. Using the projectors with “ceiling washer” optical elements, PY-QUAD can illuminate ceilings or floors uniformly without lighting the wall on which the projector is installed. With “wall-washer” optical elements, PY-QUAD can illuminate the walls or façades accurately and uniformly by placing the projector directly on the surface to be lighted, for a grazing light effect without spots.
