Targetti technical sponsor of the exhibition of Fuorisalone 2017.From April 4 to 8 Targetti will light the works on display at the
La Luce del Marmo / The Light of Carrara’s Marble, a project aimed at promoting the Carrara Marble District as part of
Fuorisalone 2017 that will be set up as part of “Space & Interiors”, an exhibition directly connected to the Salone del Mobile.
A real exhibition focusing on design – covering a surface area of 350 sqm – designed around
light as an element to enhance materials and shapes. Works of art made of marble specially created by companies and famous designers will be the focus of
the lighting path designed by Targetti, to draw attention in a charming way to the beauty of this noble material that is used widely in the fields of art, cultural heritage and museums.
At the entrance a “blade of light” clearly outlines the border between the walkway of the central corridor and the entrance of the exhibition using
“LOGICO”, the new Targetti linear system, with its minimal width and dual technical and decorative nature. Inside, light illuminates the works of marble outlining their profiles and enhancing their details.
ZENO is the projector behind such precision with its NSP optic that works by reflection, aligning the light beams to create a concentrated, extremely defined effect.
For the marble block entitled
“BlockTheRock”, the iconic symbol of the exhibition, the lounge area and social tables, TARGETTI changes the type of light again, this time using special LED strips developed by its brand
DURALAMP in collaboration with Gensler. Designed with the aim of giving lighting designers the possibility of using light as an expressive means the
DURASTRIP EMOTIONS collection is the result of scientific analysis applied to hundreds of real projects taking into account the interaction between architecture and the needs of those using the space. Every colour combination created responds to the needs of lighting 11 different lighting scenarios in the surrounding area.
The decision by TARGETTI to sponsor the exhibition La Luce del Marmo / The Light of Carrara’s Marble, comes from the desire to create a closer relationship with companies in the stone industry with the aim of showing how the products that have been developed as a result of
collaboration between the Targetti group and Gensler can improve the perception of space. One of these products,
ZEDGE the TARGETTI state-of the art step-light, designed in collaboration with Gensler. ZEDGE is available with three “frames” for three different lighting effects, in different finishes and color variants, fits into all indoor and outdoor architectural environments . For the exhibition ZEDGE will be used in a particular way by enhancing its aesthetics and expressive potential by creating a work of art in marble where ZEDGE becomes a real piece of interior design.
