The Fashion District Outlet in Valmontone, near Rome, Italy, is one of the biggest villages of this kind in Europe. Valerio Mazzoli realized the project according to the American Art Déco style. The architectural lighting of the entry portal – the real ‘visiting card’ of the outlet – has been developed paying special attention to the communication aspects.
RGB LED lighting fixtures such as ICARE and LINEOS by Targetti have been selected to create always different color scenographies able to struck visitors’ imagination. Underlined by Targetti NANO PYROS projectors, the logo on the Portal is of great impact as well. The use of other Targetti fixtures equipped with metal halide lamps (white light with 3000 K colour temperature)emphasize the different architectural levels of the building, with its typical disposition of volumes. The excellent reading of the outlet even at the distance is the result of the perfect integration between the two ‘families’ of fixtures. From a functional point of view, the lighting system guarantees at the same time the right lighting levels.
