Designed by Dario Renzi, The Groove is a shopping and industrial centre that occupies an area of over 40 thousand square meters. The lighting project refers to the outside areas, offices and to the bar and restaurant inside the shopping area. The outdoor service corridors in stone are illuminated with EDEN light fixtures, while those covered in wood-effect terracotta with LED.Y fixtures to resemble the lit pathways of piers and boats.

The yards are illuminated by ICARE fixtures with metallic halide light bulbs; the water basins by E-FORUM light fixtures positioned on the border that only highlight the horizontal surfaces. DESE 67 light fixtures with narrow spot were installed, hidden behind the lowered beam, inside the double-height shopping gallery, which evenly illuminate the floor overlooking the shops while keeping the top part with the offices in the shade. The entrance to this last area is strongly characterised by the mirrored stairs and leather wall with the company’s logo and is illuminated with recessed light fixtures (KRIPTON ARC and KRIPTON).

MINIMA wall lights with direct and indirect light were used for the stairs. The distribution part of the offices that looks out over the shopping gallery is illuminated by FLUSH recessed light fixtures and, and the deep-set skylight is illuminated by SLIM LIGHT strips with indirect light emission. In the offices and meeting rooms were installed low-luminance HELIUM plaster fixtures and LUNA fixtures with indirect light emission for perfect control of the brightness.
