Inaugurated in April 2018 the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles is home to the Los Angeles Football Club, a team that started playing Major League Soccer in 2018.
Construction of the imposing 22,000 seater structure required 18 months to complete and an investment of 350 million dollars. The architectural project was managed by Gensler, one of the most important architectural firms in the world, while the lighting design was followed by the Californian firm First Circle Design who chose Targetti lighting fixtures for the project.
PYROS projectors mounted on poles outside light access routes to the stadium in a controlled way, while inside the arena they are wall mounted to light large public areas. Using different optics with the same fixtures it was possible to obtain different atmospheres and effects.
