Targetti is the protagonist of the Darc Awards in the categories ART and KIT PRODUCT. The Darc Awards are considered the International Oscars of the world of Architectural and Decorative illumination, and offer six categories for participation: Structures (Exterior), Places (Interior), Spaces (Landscape), Art (Light art), Event (Lighting event) and Kit (Product). The jury is made up of an international group of independent lighting designers and established artists, who will nominate the winners for the various categories during the evening of the award ceremony, the Darc night, which will take place in London on 15 September.
Targetti has made the short-list of projects chosen by the jury for the ART category: Best Light Art Scheme – Low Budget with
Welcome to my home (town), a project created by the Lighting Design Academy Netherlands on the occasion of the Light Festival in Amsterdam. The project saw the company technicians and Dutch lighting designers working in close contact in order to create an installation of five illuminated houses suspended over one of the city’s canals. A play on light and perspective which creates surprising scenarios.
Tagetti is also present in the Kit (Product) category, with
ZEDGE, the new LED steplights designed in collaboration with the American Architecture and Design studio Gensler. The same category also includes
ZENO, the professional LED spotlight dedicated to art, which offers the highest levels of control over brightness, chromatic fidelity and energy efficiency.
