THE WALL, FROM STATIC TO ELASTIC
To mark the XXI Triennale International Exhibition in Milan, Targetti sponsored the creation of a work by Equipo Mazzanti on display in the Pirelli Hangar Bicocca as part of the “Architecture as Art” exhibition on display from April 2 until 12 September.
With the title “The Wall: from static to elastic”, the installation by Giancarlo Mazzanti is an itinerary with interactive walls where you need to stretch your body between sheets of fabric to create sinuous shapes that acquire depth and three-dimensionality through the use of light. Lights, shadows and sounds interact together to stimulate sensory experiences.

The wall is not a structure that separates but a tunnel that carries the public through creative channels with architecture similar to a “shadow theatre,” enhanced with the installation of recessed lighting fixtures. Jedi LED adjustable linear projectors specially designed to light vertical surfaces and due to their extreme installation flexibility provided the best output given the possibility to choose from four patented optical systems: Grazing, Wall-Washer, Spot and Flood.
