Targetti is going outside the box for the Milan Design WeekThe countdown has begun for the Milan Design Week (8-14 April 2019).
Targetti will be present at the event and has chosen Isola, the historical quarter of Milan and Frida, an unconventional- out of the box- bar which has always been a favourite gathering place for a diverse and vibrant clientele.
Isola, the synthesis of tradition and modernity is a place where “case di ringhiera” (tenement buildings with communal balconies) and hidden courtyards coexist with contemporary architectural excellence.
Follow the yellow line to Frida upstairs on the first floor: Targetti is hosting and lighting “Lines out of the box” an exhibition of illustrations by Ale Giorgini. The graphic works by the artist tell the story of characters and icons of our time from an unusual perspective. The exhibition is lit entirely by OZ, the new magnetic system that makes it possible to create light shapes that are outside the box with maximum freedom and flexibility: real Out of the box lighting.
The partnership between Targetti and Frida will not end with the Milan Design Week: Targetti has provided new lighting in the retail and exhibition space, as well as for the characteristic outdoor area in the bar.
On Wednesday April 10th at the event LIGHT OUT OF THE BOX a live performance by Ale Giorgini will be held at happy hour: the illustrator’s geometric lines will come alive in a projection that will be shown in the courtyard at Frida.
The Targetti space and the exhibition LINES OUT OF THE BOX will be open to the public from 12:00 to 20:00 from the 8th to the 14th of April.
