Targetti at Milan Design Week
The 2019 edition of the Milan Design Week has just ended successfully, with Targetti as a key player with installations illuminated by the brand's products in different districts of the city.
At Frida, the iconic restaurant in Isola, Targetti hosted the illustrator
Ale Giorgini with the exhibition
LINES OUT OF THE BOX illuminated entirely by
OZ, the brand-new magnetic lighting system. OZ has been a great success both among lighting professionals and non-professionals. Visitors were able to touch and play with this extraordinary, flexible modular system that allows anyone to create, change and adapt the configuration and form of their lighting in a simple, immediate manner.
On April 10th, an event evening that was extremely well attended, the outdoor courtyard of the Frida was the set for a live performance by Ale Giorgini who brought to life the back wall covered in ivy with lines and colours.
At the University of Milan, the designer
Mac Stopa from Massive Design chose
ZENO in the
DBS version to animate the installation designed for the info point and the
INTERNI magazine press room. For the two rooms, INTERNI's business card at the Milan Design Week, Mac Stopa designed a Cubist-style composition reworking an iconographic vocabulary of shapes and materials inspired by the colours of nature. All the walls were painted with a palette of pastel shades, cool shades in the reception area and warm shades in the adjacent area, reserved for the press. The lighting of ZENO DBS contributed significantly to the mise-en-scène. Dynamic luminous scenography, achieved by varying the light beam, which gradually changes from a concentrated spotlight emission to a wide and soft one, recreated the experience sought by the Designer.
For the 2019 edition of MDW,
Devon & Devon transformed the conservatory of the Milanese showroom into a sophisticated and elegant place with colonial shades. Targetti's
ZENO DBS and
LABEL6 projectors contributed to the result.
The historic and iconic
MONDIAL F1 system, winner of the Compasso d'Oro in 1996, was among the 32 key lighting products of the exhibition
"Light R Evolution - Design illuminates life".
