MasterChef Italia selected the Master Italian Lighting Manufacturer, Targetti to illuminate the new set design for the shows fifth season. 26 January 2016 – Renowned Italian lighting manufacturer, Targetti, was recently chosen by MasterChef Italia from among all the leading companies in the international lighting market to illuminate the famous Italian culinary talent shows new set design. A versatile array of Targetti LED luminaires were selected to provide the ideal lighting environment from both the contestant’s viewpoint in the pantry, as well as the observers in the balcony.
The MasterChef Italia pantry serves as the nerve center of the famous culinary talent show where lighting plays a major role. Contestants require the correct lighting environment to not only in highlight the ingredients and raw materials they select, but to assist them as they prepare their food during the competition. The lighting design in the pantry required that raw materials were highlighted in the correct colors and ambient light was being provided to illuminate the overall space.
The Targetti CCTLed Pendant was selected to deliver an efficient and versatile solution that was suitable for lighting the space where aspiring chefs need the best technical support to cook like real professionals. CCTLed Pendants were suspended from the ceiling in critical areas throughout the set design to aid in ensuring the freshness of the food over time, highlight the true colors of the raw materials, and to maintain high quality standards.
