Lighting art: Targetti’s experience at a seminar in Bologna
On Friday 30 September in Bologna Targetti, one of the leading companies in the architectural lighting market will hold a seminar in collaboration with Comet. The event is aimed at architects and will focus on sharing information on the most suitable lighting solutions and ways to enhance artistic buildings and places of worship.
The company’s concrete experience in these sectors means that they can provide a panorama of completed projects as well as new technology to light works of art.
“the language of light: lighting art and the space around it” is the main theme of the event on 30 September organised by Targetti in collaboration with Comet Bologna – a group that operates in the distribution of household appliances, light fixtures and electrical equipment. The seminar will be held at the headquarters of the Ordine degli Architetti (Order of Architects) in Bologna from 14:00 onwards.
It will be a chance for designers and architects who work alongside Targetti constantly, to discuss topics of primary importance in the lighting industry with the focus on obtaining the best possible results by using light in artistic and religious contexts. Some of the themes that will be looked at throughout the day include: lighting as a guide and a means of orientating in space, analysing the relationship between the observer and the space around them, analysing lighting projects for churches and historical buildings and their consequent enhancement, outdoor lighting, updates on recent developments on themes related to colour and colour rendering and new technology for lighting works of art.
Targetti will be represented by Giancarlo Castoldi, a brand promote, who will illustrate the characteristics of the solutions the company has on offer to enhance artistic places and places of worship through the use of light.
