Built in the 17th century, the Carpentras Chapelle du Collége - Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur France - currently hosts contemporary art exhibitions.

Recent restoration works have included the complete lighting system renovation. The lighting project had a dual target: the enhancement of the architectural space by emphasizing proportions and details, and the creation of a versatile and flexible system able to be meet the specific needs of setting up temporary exhibitions.

Projectors from the LEDO’ range - equipped with different optical systems - and JEDI Compact linear luminaires have been used to illuminate vaults and vertical surfaces while RGBW LED strips provide grazing lighting in different colors.

LEDO’ projector, equipped with the innovative DBS optical system, have been chosen to adapt lighting to temporary set up. The DBS system developed by Targetti is based on the use of special liquid crystal lenses to vary the light beam angle and obtain emissions from a minimum of 14° to a maximum of about 50°. This is possible without the use of any mechanical or mobile parts but only through digital control.

The entire system can be managed by touch pad and by a dedicated software that allows different lighting scenarios function to the different use of the spaces.
